Grown-up salt & pepper grinders

LOL remember when I was like, “yeah after the lake house weekend I’m starting my regular posts back up!”?

Well–turns out, June had to stay home from daycare (small bug, she’s fine), Neal had two days of back to back meetings (so I was solo with her) and I had four projects due all at once. I’ve been in scrambled brain mode trying to get everything done–with a toddler getting into god knows what all over my house. (She’s so busy these days, but I’m very thankful for Encanto, Sesame Street, and Moana–our three favorite babysitters). Anyway–I’ve *almost* got it all done, but haven’t been able to get back on *here* as much as planned!

(Basically what I’m saying is, if your life is a hot mess right now, solidarity.)

Anyway–a short and sweet little post today. The hero: my pretty salt and pepper grinders. You know you’re in your thirties when you decide it’s finally time to grow up and get yourself some nice-looking salt and pepper grinders. (Instead of continuing to buy those awful glass ones from Trader Joe’s that you accidentally screw the top off of and spill giant salt pellets all over your food. Or maybe that’s just me. 😂) Anyway, I was sick of looking at them on my counter, but I also didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for some bougie version either.

Enter: good ole Amazon. I found these guys for just $33–they’re beautiful Acacia wood, look like they’re from a bougie cooking store somewhere in Europe, and look incredibly cute sitting on my counter. I’ve used them for almost a year now (you don’t want to know how much salt we go through in this house) and they’re still working great! (Plus, they have tons of amazing reviews, too!)

Okay that’s all for today, my brain is still in melting mode, but if you, like me, are trying to upgrade the little things in your life, I hope you love this salt & pepper grinder set as much as I do!
