NI Troubles: Lewis meets Stormont parties over legacy proposals


The justice minister said: “The main discussion now is what the government’s intentions are for victims, and also whether or not this is a genuine engagement with parties and indeed with the victim sector, or whether this is just window dressing in order to make it look as though they have engaged before bringing the proposal forward, because we will certainly have no part in providing cover for the government bringing forward something which we believe is fundamentally flawed and ultimately morally bankrupt.”
