Revolve Sizing Review + My Favorite Affordable Brands To Shop

If you haven’t shopped at Revolve before, this post is for you. And if you’ve been frustrated with the Revolve site, this post is also for you.

I think a lot of us think of Revolve as just having a lot of festival outfits and looks for the club. And while that is true, it’s not the entire site. Some of my most favorite things in my closet are from Revolve. Plus, with their free (fast) shipping and returns, and an easy site to navigate, it’s a site I’ve started to shop at more and more.

Let’s dive into some of my favorite affordable(ish) brands to shop at Revolve. And some sizing tips to know before you shop.

Revolve Sizing Review

Here’s the thing about Revolve. There are third party brands like ones you can shop anywhere. Think Anine Bing, Converse, AGOLDE and so on. Then there are Revolve brands. These are in house brands that they manufacture. This includes brands like Camila Coehlo, Assignment, L’Academie and GRLFRND to name a few. There’s a long list!

For third party brands, I’ll dive into some of my favorites below in terms of sizing. But with the Revolve owned brands, I have found they tend to be a bit all over the place. Some run true to size, while many others (I would say the majority) run a tad small.

Revolve also has a great way to shop from your favorite influencers. I’ve created a list of all my favorites. I update this regularly so you can always bookmark it to shop whenever you like!

My Favorite Affordable(ish) Brands To Shop At Revolve

Jewelry & Accessories

Whether you want to splurge or save, there are some great options to shop at Revolve. I really love my Jenny Bird jewelry (earrings to the left here) and my Brixton and L*Space hats. There are also lots of great belts, sunglassess and more.

Jenny Bird

My latest obsession. I am loving this affordable gold jewelry line. I have the squiggle earrings, and the large classic hoops.

Brixton

If you’re looking for a fashionable hat, this is the brand to shop. It’s always on trend and such a good price point.

Revolve Denim Sizing Review

Denim

I’m a denim lover so I am always on the hunt for more denim in my life. I love to shop Pistola Denim here, and they have a huge collection of AGOLDE. They also carry BLANK NYC who makes my favorite faux leather pants. Plus, GRLFRND, Good American, Citizens of Humanity and Frame to name a few. Their collection is quite large and there is sure to be something you will like.

AGOLDE

I love the Dee shorts (they fit my more curvy bottom better than the Parker). People also swear by the Lana and 90’s pinch waist straight leg jeans.

Pistola Denim

A huge fan of this brand, you can read my Pistola Denim review and size guide here. And while I love their denim, yes I also love their jumpsuits, jackets and sweaters! So many great pieces.

Revolve Tees & Sweatshirts Sizing Review

Tees & Sweatshirts

So many great easy casual tees, tanks and sweatshirts to shop. I personally love Daydreamer and Anine Bing as they carry a pretty decent collection of them. A few other brands to try are Re/Done, Tularosa (I love this cropped tee) and LA Made for more basics.

DAYDREAMER

A favorite concert tee line of mine. They are so insanely soft and have the best fit. I usually take a small. Keep in mind how it looks on the model. Some of their styles are super oversized like the above No Doubt tee. I still took a small, but you could have easily sized down and still gotten a looser fit.

Anine Bing

A bit pricier, but worth it. Known for her cool edgy pieces, these tees and pullovers are a cult favorite. Known for her graphic tees and sweatshirts, these are perfect to pair with jeans and boots or a cool sneaker for fall and winter.

Revolve Dresses Sizing Review

Blouses, Dresses & Skirts

I think Revolve definitely has a reputation of club dresses or very sexy revealing items. And while I fully agree with that, the entire site isn’t a total wash. There are definitely brands I like to browse and sometimes there are some really good unique finds.

Lovers + Friends

This brand can go either way when it comes to overly revealing to totally normal pieces. I would size up in this brand and keep fabric in mind when shopping. They have a great variety of pretty dresses for events, to swim and accessories.

House Of Harlow 1960

This Revolve in-house brand is really fun and kind of retro. It’s got a really cool 60s vibe to it and I really love it. The pieces are fun, colorful and full of prints. They have all sorts of pieces to choose from whether it’s dresses, jackets or tops and skirts.

1.STATE

A solid brand for pretty dresses and tops. They run a tad small in my experience. Usually love this brand for trendy dresses.

ASTR The Label

This is a great affordable brand to shop at Revolve. And so many pretty pieces to elevate your closet with. If in-between sizes, I’d suggest sizing up with this line. I also feel like ASTR the Label really shines in spring and summer.

L*Space

For pretty dresses to wear to the beach, look no further than L*Space. They also have lots of great swimwear options, bags and hats. This brand is a go-to for a great vacation dress or outfit.

L’Academie

Definitely hit or miss and sizing can be tricky. I find I do best in their dresses (the brown one is from them last seen here) and take my usual size. I do have this off the shoulder top from them that I love and also took my regular size. These pieces feel unique and different and I think the price point is pretty decent.

Larroude Dolly Shoes

Shoes

So many great shoe brands that I shop at Revolve. They have a few in-house brands like LPA, RAYE and Song of Style. I find they are a bit overpriced for what they are in my honest opinion. Some are really cute and fun and are styles you simply won’t find anywhere else. But for more classic or popular styles, I’d skip and opt for a brand like Steve Madden, Schutz or something around that price point.

They also carry classics like Golden Goose, Converse and Nike.

LPA

I find these run true to size. Again, this is an in-house brand at Revolve and I think they are a tad overpriced for the quality. But you can find some fun pieces.

RAYE

I find these run true to size. In the boots, I went up half a size. Again, this is an in-house brand at Revolve and I think they are a tad overpriced for the quality.

Larroude

Larroude are some of my most favorite shoes in my closet. Not a lot of stores carry them, but Revolve has a decent collection. I find this brand runs true to size (read my Larroude shoe review here). And yes, those high platforms are actually very comfortable! This brand rarely goes on sale so when Revolve does a sale, this is a good time to buy them.

Sam Edelman

A favorite shoe brand that always has solid options for every season. Not too expensive, and high quality.

Song Of Style

These are pretty fun shoes but they are Revolve brand and I just find they are a tad overpriced. But Song of Style usually has really unique pieces that are bright and colorful.

Schutz

A favorite shoe brand of mine. I just love Schutz. Especially for boots in the fall and winter. I have so many of their shoes that have lasted for years.

Jeffrey Campbell

For really fun and funky shoes, look no further than Jeffrey Campbell. Not too expensive either. Think funky heels, or cool colors, Jeffrey Campbell always makes a really fun shoe. And they typically run true to size.

Revolve Beauty

Beauty

I think a lot of people overlook the beauty section at Revolve. It’s actually quite massive and they have a huge range of products to shop. From makeup, to skincare, to even hair tools, you can do quite a bit of your beauty shopping here. And when there’s a sale (and easy free shipping) it’s a great option to consider.
