Senior Vice President, Consulting
We are seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) to join our growing JLL Consulting practice. JLL Consulting professionals create future-focused agile workforce and workplace strategies for our clients to ensure they thrive in today’s world of disruption and uncertainty. This position can be located in any major U.S. City—and will work remotely and travel as needed.
The SVP will work on new business activities, and lead and deliver a range of complex and transformative engagements to identify, design, and implement creative solutions for our clients. Successful candidates for this position will have a proven track record of successfully delivering across the project life cycle, but not limited to:
Workforce Strategy – Talent Management, Well Being, Workplace Planning, Employee Experience
Workplace Strategy — Workplace Technology, Sustainability/Workplace Reactivation, Work-from-Home, Work-from-Anywhere
Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Strategies – Vision, Organizational Construct, Target Operating model, Portfolio and Cost Optimization, CRE Transformation
Provide service delivery excellence by learning and understanding key client business issues and supplementing proven techniques and tools with innovative approaches
Understand the consulting project life cycle and extract data and develop insights to inform and business decisions specific to existing and future client engagements
Ensure quality of client deliverables and deliver across multiple workstreams, and own the day-to-day relationships necessary for delivery excellence
Lead influential, dynamic, business development discussions and manage client relationships at the senior management level
Support the growth of Consulting’s P&L by participating in new business development activities (e.g., development of proposals and budgets) to prospects and clients
Create an environment where you encourage innovation and knowledge creation, management, and transfer
Lead team of junior consultants to grow their contributions to the success of JLL’s Consulting Practice
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Experienced in influencing and managing client and internal relationships at the senior management level
Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop recommendations through data- driven insights
Ability to multi-task and successfully work in a team and individual capacity in high-pressure deadline driven environments
Ability to understand and translate the link between work, workforce, and workplace implications
Comfortable and successful in handling ambiguous conditions
Innovative – inquisitive, challenges status quo, thinks outside the box, seek new ways of working and solving challenges
Client centricity – proactively manage and/or oversee execution of client engagements to ensure overall positive business relationship and client experience
Technical facilitator – demonstrates ability to simplify complex issues specific to solution development and final recommendations
Critical thinker – driven with a strong intellectual curiosity, balanced with high emotional intelligence and business acumen
Change management – develops capabilities necessary to successfully implement change/transformation initiatives and drive desired behaviours
Master’s Degree, preferred
12+ years of experience of management consulting experience required
8+ years’ experience in leading consultative engagements, preferably in the commercial real estate industry or with focus on workplace/workforce enablement
Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal, and virtual
Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
Strength in software application use (e.g. MS Suite, Project Management software)
