If you are an ardent reader of my blog, you would know how much i raved about Stamio Herbal Powders. I am still using them as my hair packs and I can see drastic improvement in the texture of my hair! I always feel natural things are the best when it comes to hair as shampoos already plays a major role in thinning our hair (especially in my case!). Last month I was being sent Stamio Amla Bhringraj Hair Oil* and Stamio Amla Bhringraj Shampoo* that I have been using for 2 weeks. Stamio products are free from sulphates, mineral oils and parabens!

Stamio Hair Oil Rs 447 for 100ml
Stamio Shampoo Rs 447 for 200ml
The fragrance of the hair oil is herbal and not very appealing but i am glad the brand has not infused it with a heap of fragrances. It goes away after few minutes and is not bothering at all.
The fragrance of the shampoo is quite refreshing and makes me feel good each time i wash my hair.
The formula of the hair oil is slightly thick and i do not require a lot of it. A small amount of hair oil is sufficient to cover my scalp. I have attended a hair workshop and learnt a lot about hair. I use this hair oil for my scalp and sweet almond oil for my hair.
The shampoo has gel consistency and is brown in color. I wish the brand has not added colors in the shampoo. The shampoo lathers well if oiled lightly and if you have oiled your hair heavily, you will need to use it twice!
Stamio Amla Bhringraj Hair Oil contains amla, bhringraj, neem, brahmi, badam rogan, yashtimadhu, coconut oil, olive oil and many other herbs. All the ingredients are very good for maintaining the texture of hair and promoting hair growth!
Stamio Amla Bhringraj Shampoo contains amla, shikakai, badam rogan, bhringraj, reetha, tulsi, neem etc. I am glad that it does not contain sulphate but with hard water in Bangalore, it sometimes become becomes a challenge to achieve soft and healthy hair.
HOW TO USE
If you read my blog regularly, you would know I oil my hair the same day of my hair wash. I apply Stamio Amla Bhringraj Hair Oil 2-3 hours before my hair wash. It’s always a good habit to apply warm oil but i usually run out of time so I apply it as it is!
For using Stamio Amla Bhringraj Shampoo, I simply take a small amount (1 teaspoon) of shampoo in a mug and dilute it with water, mix or lather and pour it slowly all over my head! I then lather it nicely and massage it on my scalp. I then rinse it with water and follow it up with my conditioner. It is necessary to follow it up with a conditioner else it would make your hair dry and frizzy. I use a hair mask prior to applying a shampoo so I do not need to use a lot of shampoo!
DID THE COMBO WORKED FOR ME?
I have 2a2b hair (again credit goes to the hair workshop I attended that I got to know about my hair type!) and both hair oil and shampoo worked well on me. I have been using them for 15 days so it will be too early to talk about hair growth.
Stamio Hair oil helps in reducing hair fall and strengthening of hair. Currently due to change in weather, I am facing little hair fall but with this oil, I feel it is moisturizing my hair and keeping dryness at bay. The oil also reduces dandruff and prevents greying hair. It is suitable for both men and women. It is cruelty free and does not contain artificial colors or fragrances! It has improved the texture of my hair and reduce frizziness!
Stamio Amla Bhringraj Shampoo cleanses the scalp well without leaving a residue behind. It also lathers well but if you have oiled your hair heavily, you would need to take more shampoo. As i have dry and wavy hair, i do feel the need to use a conditioner, It make my hair soft, less frizzy and manageable. Though I still get tangles but i will blame it to all hair water.
