The Cleveland Browns have rejected running back Kareem Hunt‘s trade request according to Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

CBS Sports insider Josina Anderson reported on Saturday that Hunt was holding out on team drills, only partaking in individual drills. The running back was seeking an extension with the Browns. Anderson added that Hunt wanted to “get paid or traded.”

Hunt had signed a two-year extension with the Browns in 2020. The 27-year-old rushed for 368 yards and five touchdowns in eight games for the Browns in the 2021 season.
